Mission: Christmas Cheer is an opportunity to give back during the holidays and keep Christ at the center of the season. We encourage you to get involved in one (or a few!) of the opportunities we have available this year.
Hope Ministries Turkey Pickin’

Hope Ministries: Bethel Mission (1310 6th Ave., Des Moines)
For our 7th year in a row, we need 25 people to pick the meat off of 150 pre-cooked turkeys for thousands of Thanksgiving meals Bethel Mission will serve to people in need in our community. Everyone must be 13 or older to participate.
Sign up on the form at the bottom of the page if you would like to join us. Pastor Amy will send you a waiver to sign ahead of time.
Family Support at the Learning Center
There are several families at the Ashworth Learning Center with specific needs, especially over the Christmas season. Please fill out the form below if you’re interested in purchasing some gifts for these families.
winter needs at Bidwell Riverside
Bidwell Riverside Community Center provides food, clothing, and care for people experiencing extra need in our city. They’re especially in need of new adult- and child-size hats, gloves, socks, and winter coats this year. We have a wrapped box in the foyer for donated items if you’d like to participate.
Learning Center Christmas Party

We are excited to connect with our Learning Center families and teachers this Christmas! We’re throwing them a Christmas party complete with crafts, games, and goodies.
