Technical difficulties, Spring into Action, Send us your family greeting, and a new challenge called Quarantined: Using a Season of Solitude to Connect with God.

Video Transcript

Hey, this is Pastor Brent, and this is your Ashworth midweek minute.

We know we had some technical difficulties Sunday, but we are so thankful that almost all of you stayed with us and made the change from Facebook to Youtube. We’re going to give Facebook another chance this week, but rest assured, we will still have a back up just in case!

And remember, if you ever forget where to go, we always have Ashworth.live pointing to the right location.

Because of the technical difficulties, you may have missed Pastor Amy’s announcement about spring into action COVID-19 edition. You can check out that announcement on our Facebook page and find ways for you and your family to connect with our community even through social distancing.

As a staff, we miss seeing you guys from week to week, and we know you probably missed seeing one another as well. So what we would like you to do is record a short video of your family together with a brief message that we can share as a part of our Sunday worship experience online.

For example, go to Ashworth.Church/wemissyou.

And finally, thanks to all who joined us in the 21-day prayer challenge. I hope it encouraged you in your faith journey, especially in these difficult times. We have another challenge for you beginning next Monday, April 20. Quarantined: Using a Season of Solitude to Connect with God will be a six-week experience where we will send you a daily text message or email with a scripture, video, song, or other artistic expression and encourage you to journal through the remainder of our isolation.

If you need a journal like these, we are willing to mail one to you today. Or if you’re like me and you prefer an electronic journal, you can search your App Store for my preference the day one journal.

If you are willing to take this challenge, sign up and let us know which method of communication you prefer at Ashworth.Church/Quarantined.

Hang in there, everyone! We love you all and can’t wait until we can get back together in person again.

And that’s your Ashworth Midweek minute.
