Amy joined Ashworth Church in June 2014 and serves as a part-time Team Pastor, focusing on worship, women’s ministry, and the teaching team. She is passionate about helping people encounter God, engage in meaningful spiritual conversations, and grow through authentic community.
In addition to her role at Ashworth, Amy is a therapist in West Des Moines. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Drake University and brings a warm, relational approach shaped by over 20 years of walking alongside people in various helping roles. Across both ministry and counseling, she believes transformation happens through connection, attentive listening, and faithful presence.
Amy is married to Matthew, and they have two children.
