At Ashworth we strive to make an impact in our community and this year we want to do that by stocking the shelves of the Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC) food pantry with Peanut Butter.
Through COVID, peanut butter has become a popular item and so the price has increased to $1.50 a jar or $18 a case (12 jars). While the price has increased, so has the need. That’s why this year we want to purchase an entire pallet of peanut butter for hungry families impacted by the pandemic.
During the the month of March, we will have a giant pallet of peanut butter sitting in our foyer ready to be purchased by you. We’re excited to see generosity flow as we watch each jar of peanut butter move from the “For Sale” pallet to the “Sold” pallet!
How to Donate
- Bring cash or check and mark it when putting it in the offering on a Sunday
- Donate whatever amount you desire through our regular giving page and selecting “Peanut Butter” from the drop-down menu.
