Elizabeth has called Ashworth her church home since 2016. Born and raised in Jefferson, IA, she spent much of her childhood playing sports and attending summer church camps. Following high school, she studied at Central College in Pella, IA, where she majored in Communication Studies and Spanish. Elizabeth moved to Des Moines in 2016 to work as a Campus Staff Minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Drake University and DMACC. Luke McDonald

Luke McDonald was born and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa. After graduating from Indian Hills Community College in 2017, he moved to West Des Moines to start a career as a Computer Programmer for IMT Insurance. Shortly after coming to West Des Moines, Luke started attending Ashworth Church and began volunteering for our Worship Team and Ashworth Youth.
