FOLLOW THE LEADER
Do you remember the simple children’s game Follow the Leader where one person was the leader and everyone just imitated whatever that person was doing? It was like Simon says for beginners. In the same way, Jesus made evangelism for beginners just like Follow the Leader. We follow Jesus. We encourage others to follow us. God is Missional
The reason we talk about the importance of sharing our faith with others is because we follow a missional God. He wants to bring blessings to this entire world, and he can only do that through us. Take a look at this message from 2016. Read the Message.
Who is Following you?
Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1 NIV)
Message Discussion Questions
We hope the message from each Sunday sticks with you beyond the Sunday morning worship service. Take a moment to consider the questions below, and even better, talk to somebody (who attends the church or doesn’t) about them.
- How comfortable are you in having spiritual conversations with others?
- Do you think most people in America today are open or closed to having spiritual conversations? Why do you think that?
- Take a moment to pray for God to give you spiritual eyes to see moments where you could begin a spiritual conversation with somebody and pray for the boldness to take that step.
